Great news this week about the IMA. Membership in IFAC (The International Federation of Accountants). It is another milestone for us, and will increase both the recognition and value of IMA membership as well as the CMA designation.
At this time of year it is good to give Thanks for what we have. A brief respite from the worry about we don't have (something the holiday season seems to bring to the fore- consumerism.)
A great profession, good friends and contacts in the IMA (North Jersey Shore, NJ Council, Committee work, and of course the IMA staff itself). A good job, and healthy family-I am blessed with that and wish the same to everyone.
My Brother is still unable to return to his home because of Storm Sandy, my prayers are for him and his family to return to it soon.
This year we are going to Ortley Beach for Thanksgiving at my brother in laws home, spared by the storm. His home is surrounded by devastation, it is a place we could not even visit last year. That home now back to normal.
